There you will notice two Starbucks' cups modeled after the Twin Towers. Then the lit cigarettes with smoke blowing from the top also seem to be an image of the once-magestic buildings.
In my opinion, I could never place an ad that would resemble something as ugly as the place where thousands of mothers, fathers, brothers, and sisters lost their lives. One ad shows the World Trade Center and two planes above with a logo saying: Learn to Anticipate
It is one thing to advertise American Events for your business, but let these ads be from humerus happenings rather. The other problem is that it has ONLY been nine years. Not, fifty. The wounds left on the victims' families are still very much open.
And think about this: Would we model two cups to look like Jeffery Dahmer drilling a hole in the head of one of his victims? No. Absolutely not. Would we show Laci Peterson, holding her stomach and standing beside her husband with the words typed out saying "learn to anticipate"? No. Maybe some would, though. But--for a national advertisement? I see that as being highly unlikely.
